After being diagnosed with a callus on my left vocal cord by a local ENT, I was referred to Karen Sussman. After calling to make an appointment, I received a questionaire and guidlines regarding her policies and procedures. My first thought was WOW, this is a very professional and organized office. Upon meeting Karen I was immediately impressed. Her depth of knowledge is amazing and her personality is a pleasure! After several visits, she informed me that she felt I had been misdiagnosed and urged me to seek a second opinion. She was kind enough to refer me to her personal ENT, Dr. Joel Portnoy and I am so thankful. I was operated on December 1, 2017 for a cyst on my left vocal cord. Immediately following surgery I was put on voice rest. With the guidance and vocal skills I have learned working with Karen I am starting 2018 with a clear voice. Karen is a Master of her field and I highly recommend her. I have enjoed all my sessions, I have learned so much and while doing so we have enjoyed many a laugh!
